Smartbike is awarded The Best Public Bike Sharing Company In India
SmartBike, the largest Public Bike Sharing (PBS) company in India, which implements and operates the Chandigarh Public Bike Sharing System, was awarded the First Prize among 100 Smart Cities under the Mobility Category, by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs at Indore.
The Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu, presented the award at the ceremony.
One of the 12 Startups to Interact with Honourable PM Narendra Modi
Out of the 180 Finalists for Startup India Awards, SmartBike is amongst the 12 Startups chosen to directly interact with the Hon’ble Prime Minister today.
We proposed a National Cycling Policy covering Barricaded Cycling Tracks, Building Multi Modal Transport Systems, Car-free Zones etc. Hon’ble PM was receptive to these proposals. He mentioned that National Cycling Plan will materialise soon.
